Barcelona Wine Bar is looking a Human Resources Generalist to help support the HR Operations of our 18 locations with more to come in this year.
We are growing company who is looking for a talented, eager, and astute candidate for this position. The incoming HR Generalist will report to the Director of HR.

A bit about the job…
Important qualifications include:
· Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
· Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
· Works with the Training Department to set up Management Hires within various HR systems.
· Partner up with the Training Department to create HR related training materials on Company’s LMS
· With the assistance of the Director of HR, the HRG will assist with employment-related inquiries from applicants, team members, and members of Management,
· Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Pulls HR related reports to analyze trends and behaviors.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

· Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems. Experience with ADP WFN is preferred but not required.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field required.
· At least one year of human resource experience is preferred.
· Hospitality experience is strongly preferred but not required.
· SHRM-CP is preferred but not required.
