Location: U.S. Based – work-from-home (Dallas preferred) Status: Part-Time (29 hours per week) Salary: $22 – $24/hour
Job Responsibilities:
Administer Employee Benefits, including new hires, bill reconciliations, terminations, qualifying events, open enrollment, and answering employee benefit questions
Coordinate employee leaves of absence
Assist with new hire onboarding process
Coordinate all offboarding activities for separated employees, including responding to unemployment claims
Perform HR data entry into HRIS, spreadsheets and other various software systems as required
Manage online personnel folders
Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR Policies and Procedures
Assist VP of HR with various HR initiatives and responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have 2 or more years of successful Human Resources experience performing similar tasks
Bachelor’s Degree or some college preferred; PHR or HR certification a plus
Familiarity with employee insurance benefits, administration, regulations and procedures
Basic understanding of federal HR employment laws
Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, ability to work independently
Self-starter, flexible and adaptable to constant change with the ability to work in a results driven, high-demand environment
Accurate data entry and good arithmetic skills
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, online databases, and email
