Function of Position: This position is responsible for the management and oversight of the Operations Teams to include National Account Installation, Metro and Service departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Act as a member of the Leadership Team by working closely with other business leadership to develop and implement improvements that will deliver more effective, efficient, and higher quality services and solutions to our customers
· Provide strategic leadership by working with Senior Director and management to establish, implement, and lead the short term and long-term goals, policies and procedures, and staff development of functional teams
· Responsible to assign projects, manage timelines, and deliver completed projects within defined timeline and within budget
· Ability to assist in the development of business justifications for budget expenditures/projects and to prioritize the implementation timeline of such expenditures/projects based on the detailed understanding of the business need
· Assist in the creation of yearly departmental metrics in conjunction with department heads to ensure teams are meeting or exceeding those goals on a regular basis
· Responsible to effectively lead functional departments and ensure cross communication between departments and organization as it relates to functional area
· Evaluate the efficiency of Operations business procedures and recommend improvements and timelines for changes
· Ability to train, mentor and develop functional team members as needed
· Acts as a positive example to others as it relates to continuing education and career development
· All other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Bachelors’ degree and ten years of Security Industry related work experience with six of those years in a supervisory role, overseeing multiple teams/departments or equivalent experience. Knowledge of Security systems is required.
