Position Description:
The University of Northern Iowa’s Department of Social Work seeks applicants for a full-time renewable term position of Instructor of Social Work, starting January 2023. Responsibilities include teaching four course sections per semester, participating in service to the University and community, and student advisement. The department offers programs at B.A. and M.S.W. levels and qualified candidates must be able to teach practice courses across the two programs.

Education Requirements:
Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program required.
Required Qualifications:
Required qualifications include at least two years of post-MSW direct practice experience; strong communication skills; and evidence of working in a collaborative environment. Areas of expertise are open.
Desirable Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D.; previous teaching experience; and ability to teach online.
