We are looking for a talented Human Resources Associate to join our team for our location in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Assists employees within the Heavy Duty Machining group with questions or concerns related to human resources activities including payroll, policies, and benefits
Supports employee questions and needs with urgency and communicates effectively through follow up (primary support group includes HDM)
Supports HR processes at HDM such as internal recruiting, performance management, exit interviews, relocation, and internal audits
This role is part of a centralized HRA team across PSBU and EBU Supply Chain. As such, this role completes OneSource transactions including Employee Action Forms, Record Updates, Supervisor Changes, etc in a timely manner for all EBU & PSBU Plant and Global Supply Chain groups
Works on a centralized team to complete employee data transactions and updates in the HR Information System including processing compensation changes, department changes, and new hires
Facilitates trainings for employees as needed and completes plant specific projects
May lead and participate in plant or organization specific projects
Performs regular audits on employee data to ensure accuracy
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Must be customer focused
Must be action oriented
Must be an excellent communicator
Previous experience in HR, Childcare, or Social Work is a plus.
This role is a Hybrid Remote position
Expectation is 4 days onsite at CEP and 1 day working from home.
M – F, 8 AM – 4 PM (Flexible)
Pay starting at $23.25 or higher, based on experience level.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
