Job Summary
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Insourcing Solutions team, you will work remotely but must be home based in San Diego, CA. This TAS will have a primary focus on recruiting for sites in San Diego, San Francisco and Cambridge, MA.

What you will do!
In this role, you will manage recruiting and staffing processes and best practices for the business. In addition, utilize various cost-effective sourcing strategies, such as internet job boards, networking, resume mining, social networking, cold calling, diversity/inclusiveness initiatives, employee referral programs, college/university recruiting and job fairs to source and attract top talent. Pre-screen all applicable candidates, recommending candidates to hiring manager based on detailed requirements of position and job competencies; provide manager with reasoning for advancing candidate. Effectively utilize our applicant tracking system to manage and track job postings and recruitment activity and ensure process compliance. You will need to track, report and support future staffing initiatives.
The TAS will need to establish credibility and positive, professional working relationships and remain engaged with hiring managers and senior management to stay abreast of hiring process. As well as partner with HRBPs and hiring managers to better understand business needs, assist with job descriptions, forecast talent acquisition needs and to develop proactive candidate pipeline strategy. Create and maintain relationships with candidates to maintain the pipeline for future positions. You will partner with other TA Specialists to work through challenges, brainstorm, share effective practices and offer additional support where needed.
Job Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
A candidate that possesses a B.S. in Human Resources or Life Sciences is preferred, with 3-5 years’ related recruiting experience; of which 1-2 years of scientific staffing is desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for what is listed. SHRM is a plus; proficiency in using IT staffing tools, working with all levels of executives and management, strong interviewing and closing skills. Must be self-motivated and able to prioritize a heavy workload in a fast-paced changing environment.
