Job Summary
Mount Snow Child Care is looking for Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join our team this winter. Winter programming in our five classrooms ranging from infants through prekindergarten focuses on play based learning experiences and exploration of Mount Snow within our early childhood education program and non-recurring program.

Job Responsibilities
Teachers are responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating curriculum and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classrooms. Lead Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. Lead Teachers must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, have effective teaching teams and have strong daily communication with families.
Assistant Teachers will support Lead Teachers in the classroom with all of these responsibilities.
Lead Teachers & Assistant Teachers will ensure a healthy classroom environment and all center policies and state regulations are met. Flexibility, patience, excellent team skills, positive attitude and great guest service is required as well as an interest in outdoor education. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
The budgeted range starts at $20 – $25. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
