In this role, you will be leading regional HR communications and marketing through strategy, planning, development, and execution. Collaborates with HR and project leaders to create communications/marketing campaigns, develop innovative ways to engage associates and promote Honda philosophy. Supports communication and change management efforts toward achievement of our HR Vision – Realizing human potential for associates, Honda, customers, and society.

Leading internal HR communications and marketing across the US
Developing & delivering the communications/marketing strategies for HR including the establishment of communication plans and associated deliverables that advance Honda’s associate value proposition, contribute to behavior change and/or increase employee engagement
Appling advanced professional and or technical communication expertise to HR initiatives including the drafting, reviewing, and editing customized human resources communications and marketing materials in plain language for targeted audiences using appropriate media, including internal and external audiences.
Coordinating appropriate reviews (customer, compliance, technical, editorial, vendor, etc.) to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of materials and following up as necessary to discuss solutions to issues raised during the review process
Providing expertise in digital and social media platforms to support organizational needs
Actively engaging in HR communication initiatives and ensuring clarity regarding deliverables, deadlines, and resources
Performing project management duties, including developing and maintaining project plans, overseeing budgets, coordinating team activities, participating in, and facilitating meetings and other associated tasks
Staying connected to associate sentiment through established networks across the organization and associate sensing

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in strategic communications, journalism, human resources, or related field of study
5-7+ years of relevant communications and/or marketing experience
Knowledge and Skills
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with proven expertise in technical, marketing, and persuasive writing
Experience with various digital and social media platforms
Excellent organizational, project management, and leadership skills
Strong presentation and customer relationship skills
Ability to build internal partnerships with various business lines and leadership
Mastery of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
