Reporting to the Manager of Payroll & HRIS you will support the department by ensuring files are maintained, copying, scanning, validating and maintaining of employee I-9 records, and serve as back up for the Payroll team.
What You’ll Do
Oversee record management of all employee personnel files including creation, processing and maintenance
Maintain file room logs to track the location of files
Prepare records for archiving at our off-site storage following company retention policy
Work with the areas regarding onboarding processes
I9 validation and monitoring
Open and distribute all Payroll mail
Data entry
Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
What You’ll Have
1 year experience in HR data maintenance role (file maintenance and E-Verify)

Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment
Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Legal Stuff
