Our HR team leverages an understanding of our business to develop and implement core Human Resources processes and policies. HR plays a critical role through the Terex Transformation strategy and ‘Execute to Win’ business system, but in particular by forming a strong foundation through the Terex Way values, developing our leaders and engaging our team members, playing a critical role in forming and sustaining a high performance culture.
As an HR Generalist, you will report directly to the Senior HR Director, working with the wider team to provide a first class and seamless delivery of end-to-end HR service to your client group. Proactive engagement with line managers will be a fundamental feature of the role.
Responsibilities will include;
Build strong relationships with managers to provide business partnering support (Supply Chain, Sales, & Parts groups)
Provide guidance and coaching to empower all managers to make effective people decisions
Support managers through the performance management cycle – objective setting, performance reviews, mid-year calibrations, talent reviews and compensation planning
Answer questions about required trainings, flexible work program, and scholarship program
Partner with recruitment team and hiring manager to fill roles on teams you support
Act as idea-generator for engagement activities
Manage the on-boarding & off-boarding processes
Educate and support team members on company policies and procedures ensuring they are applied consistently
Submit status change forms to ensure data consistency across systems
About You
We are seeking a strong candidate who is passionate about working with people and enjoys the broad spectrum of both planned and reactive HR work.
You will be a creative individual who is able to understand how short term decisions impact the long term goals of the organization
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, psychology or a related field
3+ years experience in HR, operations, or related position
Ability to work in-person in Bothell, WA on a hybrid or full-time schedule
Preferred Qualifications
Previous HR internship or customer service experience
PHR/SHRM certification or willingness to acquire
Highest integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
Intermediate skills with MS Office and WorkDay
Solid communication skills – both written and verbal
Service oriented; customer focus
Well-developed organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
Action-oriented with strong follow-up skills
Strong analytical and project management skills
Attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills
