Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
Leadership experience at a major metropolitan research institution; capital campaign planning experience. Experience managing and coordinating fundraising activities for a multi-faceted health care organization or institution of higher education.
Position Description
The Senior Director of Development leads the planning and execution of a comprehensive philanthropic program for units within the School of Medicine in coordination with the Assistant Vice President of Development for the Health Sciences Center (HSC). The Senior Director of Development will work collaboratively with colleagues across University Advancement to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects for the School of Medicine. All job functions must be performed with a high degree of professionalism, including responsibility, initiative, creativity, dependability, human relations, cooperation, courtesy, and in compliance with Affirmative Action.�
Responsibilities
Some evening and weekend work, along with travel, is required.
