Sobremesa Hospitality Management is currently seeking a highly motivated HR Coordinator to assist the Human
Resources Department..The HR Coordinator will work directly with the Human Resources Manager.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Work alongside HR Recruiter & assist with sourcing and screening candidates, setting up
interviews for hiring managers, administer assessments, conduct reference checks and extend
job offers
Assist with Onboarding and orientation for all new hires
Perform constructive and timely performance evaluations
Assist HR Manager with Payroll Review and submission
Maintain organization of employee files
Conduct internal audits per Brand & Franchise standards
Assists HR Manager with performing fair and equitable investigations
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
Conduct Exit interviews
Training & Development projects
Organization of company events (i.e. kickoffs, conferences)
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Must have a high school diploma/ GED
Bachelor’s Degree in Business strongly preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Recruitment experience in Restaurant Industry strongly preferred
Must have 2 years’ experience in conducting interviews and conducting onboarding/ orientation
Excellent Communication skills
Excellent organizational & Multi-Tasking Skills
Knowledgeable in Laws pertaining to employment (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.)
Knowledgeable in conducting background checks, employment verifications, reference checks
Knowledgeable in completing Employment Forms (i.e. I-9, W4, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Software, Gmail
