The Opportunity
The MMSD Annuity Product, Competition and Solutions Trainer is responsible for creating training materials, delivering and measuring aptitude for the MMSD organization sales team including but not limited to product knowledge, solutions and strategies and competitive insights.
The Team
The MMSD Annuity team is responsible for the expansion of annuity solutions in the third-party marketplace. The team is responsible for all aspects of running the MMSD business, New Business Development, Industry Strategy, Key Account Management, Wholesaling Oversight, New Business Oversight, Marketing and Compliance Oversight.

Job Responsibilities
Create effective training programs and materials to increase knowledge and aptitude of MMSD sales team product, competition and solutions/strategies knowledge.
Effectively deliver training to multiple sales team audiences including external wholesalers, internal wholesalers, sales team management, key accounts and marketing associates.
Managing training for onboarding new associates within SDP and with our strategic partners.
Measure training effectiveness and impact to the organization.
Incorporate training methodology and best practices to increase training effectiveness.
Utilize multiple mediums of training delivery including but limited to in person, webinar, digital platforms, podcasts etc.
Develop a knowledge check process and scoring system.
Act as a competitive resources for the field and proactively share competitor insights.
Minimal Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma (or GED) with 4+ years related Sales experience
7+ years experience in annuity sales, marketing, training, or learning role
Series 6 required at time of application
Travel required, estimated 20%
Ideal Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge of annuity, life and long term care solutions
Strong working knowledge of financial services industry and third party distribution.
Proficient with MS Office Suite, with a focus on PowerPoint
Strong organizational, detail orientation and understanding of teaching methodologies/best practices.
