Position Overview
At our organization, we offer both Part-Time and Full-Time Entry-Level positions that respect your need for flexibility. As a Data Entry Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in handling various types of information, including customer orders, inventory records, and financial data.
Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently input and update data into our computer systems and databases.
Ensure the accuracy of data by cross-referencing it with source documents and conducting routine quality checks.
Identify and rectify errors or discrepancies in the entered data.
Maintain organized electronic and hard copy filing systems for data and documents.
Retrieve and present information from the database as requested by management or other team members.
Generate reports and conduct data analysis to support decision-making processes.
Safeguard data confidentiality and adhere to security policies and procedures.
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure data integrity and resolve any data-related issues.
Adhere to company guidelines and protocols for data entry and record-keeping.
Meet productivity and accuracy targets set by the company.
Key Responsibilities
Data input and updates in various databases and systems.
Validation of data accuracy and completeness.
Error detection and correction in data.
Ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Effective communication with team members and departments to ensure data quality and consistency.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Proficiency in typing with speed and accuracy.
Familiarity with simple data processing applications like Microsoft Word or Open Office (which is available as a free download).
Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, preferably in a healthcare or supply chain setting.
Competence in using computer software and data entry systems.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
Effective organizational and time management skills.
Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare products (Elite Healthcare Wellness knowledge is a plus).
Strong communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously within a team.
