Responsibilities
Perform data mining, analysis, and mapping with large datasets.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analyses, presenting results to clients.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in program operations.
Collaborate with the QA specialist to provide testing support for new program functionality.
Consistently apply the steps and processes of Standard Operating Procedures.
Investigate and understand the capabilities of existing systems and technologies.
Use data modeling tools to perform data modeling.
Provide outstanding customer support to CDC internal system users and awardees via phone and email.
Qualifications
BA/BS required with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree (Master of Public Health) preferred but not required.
Experience with data modeling tools.
Proficiency in technologies such as SAS, Power BI, and RedCap.
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
Expertise in writing functional, non-functional, and data requirements.
Understanding of SDLC methodologies is highly desired.
Proficiency in data mining, data analysis, and performing data quality checks.
Knowledge of HPQC is a plus.
Preferred experience with analytical tools related to public health applications.
Experience with statistical analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence applications is a plus.
Ability to apply critical thinking skills and solve problems within a technical team.
Security Requirements
Must be a US Citizen or have the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (Public Trust 5) within a reasonable period.
