This Person will be Responsible For:
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; assists with preparation and maintenance of employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
Managing and assisting hiring managers through the recruiting and onboarding process for exempt and non-exempt personnel.
Managing and investigating harassment claims, discrimination claims, and employee disputes discreetly and with confidentiality. Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of organizational policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters.
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation; ensures organizational compliance.
Maintains responsibility for compliance with federal and state legislation pertaining to personnel matters.
Communicates changes in organizational personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.
Assists executive management in the review, preparation, and administration of wage and salary programs.
Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by executive management, on personnel matters.
Works directly with department and division managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
Recommends, evaluates, and participates in staff development and employee engagement initiatives.
Identifies improvement opportunities to align human resources with the organization’s strategic objectives.
Develops and maintains a human resource information system (HRIS) that meets organizational needs.
Develops and maintain payroll using a payroll software.
Ability to implement new HR software.
The ideal candidates will have the following:
3–5-year HR experience preferably in the healthcare setting.
Bachelor’s degree required; human resources specialty is preferred.
Self starer can work with limited resources.
1-2 years’ experience in running payroll.
