HR Generalist,
Acquis BI is expanding into the healthcare technology sector with a new product we are proud to say can help improve wellness and make people’s lives better. We are currently seeking a part-time HR Generalist with a passion to strengthen and extend our small team globally and develop new and innovative company HR policies and strategies and undertake the operational processes for recruiting, on-boarding, managing timesheets, PTO, implementing performance reviews, working on retention and training plans etc. You should be tech-savvy and know how to use HR technologies to support and administer our HR efforts. You should have a strong background in HR process and employee support with an ability to communicate confidentially, coordinate, manage and develop procedures, have excellent writing skills and ability to take complex situations and translate collaborative communications. This is a great opportunity to return to work part-time with the autonomy to be creative.
NOTE: Screening Questions and Telephone Pre-screening is required. Don’t lose out and don’t be shy; candidates who do not fully complete the pre-sereening tasks may not be considered.
Hours and Location: we are looking for candidates who would be living in the state of Virginia or New York State where we are registered employers. While the main role is remote, you shall be required to travel to the office and attend certain in person events from time to time.
The hours are a minimum standard of 8 hours a week but shall be higher from time to time depending on specific projects, like recruitment campaigns or performance reviews, for example. The hours shall not exceed 16 hours a week. Days and time of day shall be worked out depending on the candidate’s availability.
What is the job?
The HR Generalist will:
· Have responsibility for maintaining and administering Human Resource policies, procedures, and programs. Additionally research new HR best practices and provide counsel on updating HR policies and procedures that provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, and goal attainment.
· On boarding; ensuring all new recruits are properly screened and brought on board securely with our IT management team. Follow and update our on-boarding process ensuring new employees are given access to the required internal systems, teams, and groups. Provided orientation and on-boarding training in company policies and procedures.
· Training ; Work with Management to develop individual training plans, ensuring managers and employees are trained and have scheduled training. Ensure annual and quarterly training in company policies and updates.
· Mentor, advise and support employees and provide guidance, where needed. Facilitate company wide communication, and inter team awareness and consideration.
· Recruitment activities and manage recruitment campaigns and help with recruitment strategies.
· Provide guidance, support, and training to employees throughout the organization, in relation legal responsibilities, interviewing best practices, leadership support and other HR related joint activities.
· Oversee exit interviews and procedures in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws.
· Organize and schedule performance review. Assist and advise team leader in the PR process. Participate in and advise on performance reviews.
· Manage and advise on employee benefits, incentive schemes and promotional campaigns.
· Co-manage employee management system, we are seeking a new HR platform.
· Build on corporate culture which is focused on Innovation and Excellence (training), User Focused Design, (customer knowledge and support) Results Orientated Teams (motivation and autonomy) and Customer Experience (End to end consciousness of customers).
· Collaborate with every part of the organization to support employees and managers in employee relations and wellbeing.
· Maintain the highest level of safety, privacy and confidentiality.
