ABOUT THE ROLE:
The HR Generalist/Recruiter will report to the VP of Talent and People and be responsible for supporting all of Airvet’s team members in being successful in their roles. Your responsibilities will primarily be in recruitment and HR administration, by partnering with TriNet as our Payroll and People Ops provider. Being part of a small team, you will get to expand your knowledge and take on additional projects and programs to improve the team journey from outreach to offboarding, and the creation of future alumni.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a small team, we are looking for someone who is a go-getter and willing to step in to help as needed.
Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:
Assist in recruitment for all positions
Build strategic sourcing plans for recruitment
Create an exceptional candidate journey
Support talent acquisition initiatives from posting jobs for new hires to onboarding the future airvet employee successfully
Help coordinate, set up, and conduct onboarding, all new-hire paperwork, orientation, including creating logins, setting up email accounts, etc
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Support the People Ops/Talent team with all Human Resource Compliance issues, including researching, updating, and communicating various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulations
Partner with TriNet in the following areas:
Administer and track all types of leave
Address questions around benefits, and administer benefits for employees
Assists with response to all EEOC and NLRB charges, as needed.
Schedule and support meetings and offsites; keep minutes, and track deliverables.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A STRONG FIT FOR THE ROLE?
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, pre-law, or administration.
5+ years of overall professional experience; with atleast 1 year in people ops, talent, management, and/or Human Resources.
Excellent verbal, written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
A successful track record in setting priorities; keen analytic, organizational, and problem-solving skills which support and enable sound decision-making.
Empathy, and the ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Technology savvy, with proficiency in MS Office, Google Office Suite; Bonus points if you have knowledge/exposure to Lever, Greenhouse, and/or other HR/Talent Management software applications.
Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
A multi-tasker with the ability to wear many hats in a fast-paced environment.
BONUS SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are highly desired.
