Alff Construction Hiring for Human Resources Specialist at Dallas, Texas Full Time

A Human Resource Specialist employed by Alff Construction aids the human resources processes at all business locations. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, and file maintenance. This role will also be tasked with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees.

Responsibilities Include:

Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details.
Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings.
Reviews applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions; conducts and/or schedules preliminary interviews.
Prescreening/onboarding of new hires
Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Workforce Now ADP experience
Full Cycle Recruiting experience required

Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma/GED
3+ years’ Human Resources experience
3+ years’ recruiting non-exempt construction/maintenance industry experience
Bilingual preferred
