Responsibilities:
Support the NSS Human Resources team by assisting with validation of employee file contents and ensuring appropriate disposition
Under close supervision, assist with employee relations issues
Conduct research to troubleshoot employee payroll issues and escalate to payroll as needed
Develop more detailed documentation of specific HR steps in contract transitions
Contribute to HR data analysis and presentations
Assist with employee communications on a variety of topics
Process employee lifecycle transactions within HR system and review for accuracy
Requirements:
Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in an accredited college majoring in human resources, business administration, psychology, or other related major.
Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance
Strong communication skills and desire to work in a team environment
Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be fluent in verbal and written English
Ability to pass a pre-employment screening process to include background check and drug screen is required.
