American Exchange Group is looking to expand the marketing team and is looking for an experienced designer to join their marketing team. This position will work directly with the Marketing Manager and Lead Marketing Designer to develop and maintain the look and feel of multiple smart wearables, and accessory brands. We are looking for a candidate who has a methodical and organized design approach and understands ways to prioritize, pivot, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Create sales & marketing pitch decks and presentations
-
Design showroom and retail displays and signage
-
Packaging design and manual layout for smartwatch brands
-
Prepare dielines and artwork for signage and packaging
-
Create and edit semi-realistic renderings in Photoshop
-
Design digital ads, OOH ads and print assets
-
Develop trade show artwork and assets
-
Build brand presentation websites in Wix
-
Completes all tasks within expected deadlines.

Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Design UI for smart wearables and toys/gadgets
QUALIFICATIONS

MUST have a portfolio available for review to be considered for this position

At least 3 years of in-house design experience

Proficiency in Photoshop – practices labeling/grouping/organizing layers, using smart objects, layer masks, clipping masks and non-destructive editing

Proficiency in Design – uses paragraph styles, master pages, and understanding of text frame settings
-
Proficiency in Illustrator for logos, icons and signage – comfortable building logos and iconography using pathfinder/effects/swatches/color themes/understanding of pantone color books/etc.

Light product photography and photo retouching
-
Adobe After Effects and Premiere, 3D animation and video editing is a plus
