The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting a variety of Human Resource-related duties with some supervision while maintaining appropriate confidentiality. This position provides accurate and timely information on a variety of Human Resource issues, including policy interpretation, leaves of absence, workers compensation, benefits, compensation, sourcing and recruiting, performance appraisals, unemployment claims, safety, and progressive discipline and terminations; may act as a specialist for other Human Resource team members on one or more of the preceding topics. This position represents the company and the department in employee counseling sessions, committee meetings, training sessions, and orientation programs. This position’s duties also include assisting teams with special assignments, which may include departmental and Network-wide research efforts.
