About this Position:
This position is expected to provide recruitment expertise and leadership to the team by developing, implementing and executing strategies to meet the talent resource acquisition objectives to support the region.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for daily operations within assigned area/team (Team / Direct Report leadership, coverage, vacation, adjusted hours, team meetings, customer needs, vendor management, recruiting, sourcing, etc.)
Provide leadership and support to team members / Direct Reports to ensure success related to team goals and metrics (lead by example), encouraging feedback and communication within the team. Responsible for overall performance reviews.
Partner with key stakeholders and customers to provide appropriate service levels. Support the facilitation and resolution related to customer requests, concerns and/or issues.
Provide recruiting direction for respected region, including partnering with other recruiting teams to support regional strategies and Business Plan activities to meet the needs of internal customers. (diversity, recruitment, sourcing, postings).
Support and lead events, meetings and team activities – travel to the spot as required based on business needs. This position will be expected to travel to various locations across Honda U.S. Operations to support the team and customers.
Who we are seeking:
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.
Required Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of Human Resource Experience
A minimum of 3 years specific Staffing / Recruitment Experience
Desired skills:
Knowledge related to staffing, recruitment, interviewing methods and processes.
Understanding of laws and regulations related to staffing and recruitment.

Fast paced work environment
Travel required – 15% (Regional support for various U.S Operations and Direct Reports)
