As a Strategy and Operations associate, you will be responsible for evaluating data/information to improve decision-making and inform our strategy. The Associate will work with key stakeholders to ensure that decisions are made and actioned, allowing our operations to run as efficiently as possible. You will challenge the unknown and try to drive improvement into critical areas of our business.A successful candidate knows and loves working with data and people – passionately partnering with the business to identify strategic opportunities and deliver results. They should have an internal drive to answer why? questions, excellent analytical abilities, solid business acumen, as well as superior written and verbal communication skills. They should be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail) and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesSupport a portfolio of strategic cross-functional initiatives to drive growth and operational improvement.Work with Amplity business development and client engagement on both client pitches and initiatives to grow the revenue line – including pitch development and client research.Work with Business Unit leaders to develop business cases for new products/offerings.Undertake business process analysis and build plans to implement process improvements.Support with ad hoc financial analysis, developing financial models for key strategic initiatives.Help define and implement the metrics and reporting that matter.Support the identification and integration of new business units.Create high-impact analysis and presentations.Identify inconsistencies or inefficiencies in business processes and work with SMEs and process owners to create actionable improvements.Research, plan, and implement projects. Including connecting team members, keeping everyone working towards a singular goal, and overseeing timelines, budgets, and priorities.Other activities as required to support the Amplity Executive Leadership Team.Education and ExperienceBachelors degree or equivalent experience required.1+ years business analyst experienceEssential Skills and Knowledge Successful in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Exceptional verbal, written, quantitative, and presentation skills.Deadline-driven, highly organized, and able to multitask.Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with leaders, key external and internal stakeholders.Ability to process complex information, skilled in research, and able to translate findings into actionable next steps.Demonstrable ability to identify when processes or procedures are not operating effectively and formulate and implement relevant solutions.Predisposition to asking why questions with a desire to learn and understand.Strong collaboration skills with the ability to drive projects that involve multiple stakeholders.Ability to create and contribute to a positive environment.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages with strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
