Everyday Will Be Different but Your Primary Duties Include:
Oversees recruiting activities including the sourcing, resume review, phone screens and interview selection process for divisional openings
Collaborates with hiring managers to assist with developing job descriptions
Develops and maintains contacts with key resources to find and attract qualified candidates
Oversees and reviews pre-employment testing, screening and reference checks
Reviews and approves employment offers
Establishes personnel files for new employees and maintain and updates current employees personnel files
New Employee Orientation (NEO) and Onboarding; Collaborates with key personnel in performing and/or scheduling NEO, reviews new employee onboarding training schedules and ensures training recaps are performed.
Facilitates new hire open enrollment eligibility, preparing documents, conducting meetings, and verifying enrollments.
Answers employee benefit questions and assists in resolving discrepancies.
Assist in the annual open enrollment process for divisional employees
Maintains employee benefit files and updates employee payroll records as needed. Documents, and maintains standard operating procedures for benefit processes
Utilizes ADP Payroll module to manage and oversee time-off procedures including leave accruals.
Communicates with employees on leave requests, procedures, and regulations.
Aligns divisional culture with employee relations philosophy
Engages employees proactively across the division
Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Manages employee policies and procedures that are necessary, effective, and legally compliant.
Coaches’ managers for a positive outcome and facilitates discipline and corrective actions
Handles workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures
Oversees and reviews exit interviews for employees leaving the company
Supports supervisor development throughout the division
Oversees and manages the performance appraisal process to drive performance
Supports managers in developing staff, identifying career development opportunities and training needs.
Provides hands-on training and day-to-day performance management guidance to department and subordinate managers (coaching, counseling, career development, performance feedback).
Collaborate with executive leadership and supervisors to identify key employee retention factors and assist in establishing programs or benchmarks that support employee retention.
Collaborate with supervisors in educating clients on the value and necessity of Employee Retention activities, with a focus on managed properties with onsite staff
Retains historical human resource records and organize past and current records
Cultivates professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
