Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Personnel.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Human Resources Manager:

• Implement, administer, and evaluate human resources programs.

• Manages recruitment, interviewing and hiring.
• Manages new hire orientation and Onboarding including coordination of enrollment them in Company benefits and online employee self-service system.
• Maintains personnel files and ensures employees’ credentials are up to date.
• Participating in various risk management and corporate compliance activities.

• Develop systems, processes and implementation programs for use within departments to assist in efficient management of human resources workflow.
• Provide advice and counsel to management and other employee groups related to compliance with and the communication, interpretation, and implementation of human resources policies and other relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Assist in solving human resources problems and monitoring implementation of agreed upon actions until the problem has been resolved.
• Participate in human resources related decisions.
• Assist in the analysis of morale indicators such as, but not limited to, surveys, turnover and grievances, and present recommendations for corrective action when needed.
• Develop and maintain current knowledge in the assigned specialized human resources areas.
• Provide training to Directors and others on human resources processes and policies.

• Lead compliance with labor law and reporting requirements, including EEO, ADA, DOL, workers’ compensation, DFEH, OSHA and Joint Commission.

• Process Bi-Weekly Payroll processing for all salaried and hourly employees, as needed
• Conducts risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends.
• Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organizations services and departments.
• Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
• Recommends and implements risk management solutions such as insurance, safety and security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
• Reviews and analyzes metrics and data such as cash flow, inventory, breakage, and employee activity that could uncover fraudulent behavior.
• Drafts and presents risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality in a small office environment
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
• Must have a high level of organizational skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with a variety of people.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills with staff, clients, executives, vendors, clinical and medical providers, and members of the public.
• Complete many different duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
• Demonstrates ability to exercise analytic ability.
• Read and write, verbal and written communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Prioritize, meet deadlines, and use sound judgment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Human Resources preferred
• Minimum of three years’ experience in Human Resources and Office Management.

Physical Demands:

• Repetitive hand movement use and view PC.
• Sits or stand for long period of time, reach, bend, climb, stoop, and lift up to 25lb.
