POSITION TITLE:
Substitute – Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
HOURLY WAGE: $27.88 an hour – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
$37.53 an hour – Registered Nurse (RN)
BENEFITS:
Benefits may be available for substitute employees who work 630 hours in a school calendar year. This may include Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-term Disability Insurance, Life Insurance, Pension, VEBA, and 403(b).

REPORTS TO:
Building Principal / District Nurse / Director of Special Programs
SUMMARY:
The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide first aid to staff and students, administer medication consistent with state regulations under the supervision of the district nurse, and provide on-going programs and screenings related to health.
The building level Registered Nurse will provide first aid to staff and students, administer medication consistent with state regulations under the supervision of the district nurse, provide ongoing programs and screenings related to health, and assist the District Nurse in the care planning process.
