Support the administration of the recruitment process in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations to include accurate recordkeeping.
Interface with department managers on ad development through the hiring phase.
Implements and regulates new hire orientations and onboarding for a multi-state employer
Reviews company policies and practices to maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and recommend best practices.
Benefits administration for self-insured plan including ERISA compliance.
Some knowledge of ACA and self-insured reporting requirements.
Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, MA PFML, short term disability and other multi-state employer leave laws and maintain compliance with future changes.
Support the development of an Affirmative Action Plan annually maintaining applicant and employment data and analysis in compliance with federal requirements.
Support the overall performance evaluation process
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
5-10 years’ experience desired.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business desired; SHRM-CP certification a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
Interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate,
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality,
Proficiency with or ability to learn HRIS systems
