A Fortune 500 ECommerce Company based in Seattle is hiring MULTIPLE, REMOTE HR Generalists.
Job Responsibilities:
Administers Human Resources policies and procedures that cover two or more functional areas.
Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management.
Processes paperwork for functional area according to established procedures.
May prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, or company policies.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Working with HR partners & the business itself – stakeholders, providing coaching/consoling to staff.
Typical Day:
Working with the business leaders, answering any questions, offering support, providing coaching, etc.
Performance management – Answering questions in regard to how to put it in, what coaching looks like, how to go about making a performance improvement plan, and providing feedback.
Compensation, talking to management about this, how it’s done, what salaries looks like.
Supporting employees with immigration concerns or if an employee needs to be in touch with the right person.
Case management – Organizing and making sure its up to date with HR partners and facilitate to make sure that moves along well.
Been a HR generalist & knows this role and can hit the ground running. Take on ambiguity at a high level. If they don’t have explicit instructions, be able to be proactive and reach out for help from other HR Business Partners.
Required Qualifications:
HR Generalist experience.
Take on ambiguity at a high level.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Basic familiarity with Microsoft office tools, Excel or be able to learn quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
2-4 years of experience in HR or in a related area.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
