Job Description
Established and growing Wireless Telecommunications Company with its headquarters located in Southern California is seeking a full-time Project Manager to help lead in our Wireless Telecom Division in the Phoenix Arizona Market.
The ideal applicant will plan and oversee multiple projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way.
Applicants Qualifications:
· Minimum of four (4) years of field experience
· Proven ability to solve problems creatively and promptly
· Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
· Solid experience with overseeing projects through the full life cycle
· Excellent analytical skills
· Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Determine and define project scope and objectives
· Schedule and manage bid walks – share and save information as required
· Prepare bids to include BOM and all pre-labor information
· Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
· Prepare a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
· Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
· Track project costs to meet budget
· Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
· Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
· Monitor project progress daily and adjust as needed by managing resource allocations (in the field)
· Measure project financial performance to identify areas for improvement
· Ensure project safety standards are being exceeded
· Set employees individual goals and communicate objectives for the team
· Manage team PTO
· Manage and perform employee performance evaluations with Reviewsnap software and HR Dept.
· Manage and execute employee write-ups and warnings with HR Dept.
· Assist with hiring and termination of employees with HR Dept.
· Assist with and manage team training and certification
· Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making informed decisions about the purchase of materials or services
· Analyze and report department needs to management
