JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing day to day administration of policies and programs covering the following: benefits, recruiting, compensation, training, payroll, employee and labor relations, safety, and workers’ compensation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements HR operational strategies in line with plant goals and objectives.
Provides first line mediation to advise, assist, follow-up and resolve issues regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and documentation for employees.
Builds strong business relationships with plant leadership team to assist in setting business priorities and work activities.
Assists with the administration of the performance management process (PMP) to ensure compliance with company policy.
Facilitates with plant leadership team to determine and implement best practices and solutions for employees.
Actively identifies gaps and proposes and implements changes necessary to mitigate compliance risks.
Analyzes HR data to identify trends and establish metrics.
Applies and correlates organizational metrics with business success.
Partners with plant leadership team to establish and ensure adherence to budgets and business plan.
Conducts recruiting activities to fill vacant positions to include advertising, screening, etc.
Administers and coordinates new hire orientation, which includes HR related policies & Company Benefits.
Maintains all personnel-related documentation, including personnel files and related records and reports.
Coordinates employee activity functions, training, team building events, and monthly site meetings to assist with retention of personnel.
Assists with projects and additional tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required.
2 to 4 years of experience required.
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
