Summary
The Regional Sr HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting and conducting regional HR initiatives including but not limited to employment compliance, co-worker recruitment and retention and E-verify. The Regional Sr HR Coordinator collaborates closely with the HR Generalist and serves as the backup when needed and collaborates with the HR team to provide a welcoming onboarding experience and participates in regional staff meetings.
Roles and Responsibilities
Partners with Regional Recruiters to develop personal relationships with local outreach agencies to promote diversity
Maximizes the Applicant Tracking System and ensure positions are posted, requisitions are closed and candidates are dispositioned appropriately in a timely manner
Conducts New Hire Orientation as needed
Addresses issues relating but not limited to benefits, Policies and procedure, Co-worker relations and Time off inquiries
Partners with the HR Generalist, HR OpX Manager to ensure initiatives/metrics of HR OpX program are being carried out
Makes visits to work sites to foster positive co-worker relations, enhance communications and support activities related to employment
Audits the expiration dates of immigration documents and requests and uploads the appropriate renewed documentation when originals expire
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field and three (3) years of HR experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Professional Certification in Human Resource Management (PHR or SPHR) preferred
Prior experience in construction preferred
