ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Occupancy Specialistprovides clerical support for the administration of various housing programs.
The Occupancy Specialist performs:
QUALIFICATIONS and EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities for the position is qualifying.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Ability to work with people of all social and economic backgrounds
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
Proficient with information technology including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects and demands
Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with tenants, co-workers, and community
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, and performing repetitive motions.
Must be able to perform sedentary work exerting 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds frequently.
Must be able to possess the visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures, view a computer monitor, and do extensive reading.
