Plans, directs, implements, and oversees human resources policies and activities including employment, compensation, benefits, employee relations, regulatory compliance, and communications for company to maximize the company’s effectiveness and ensure accomplishment of corporate goals and objectives.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and business processes.
Responsible for the development and implementation of performance management process and ensures alignment with key business initiatives.
Represents company at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Oversees accident investigations and reports for insurance carrier.
Administers all employee-related benefit programs such as health and welfare, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
Participates in the development and implementation of company’s compensation system. Administers salary administration program to ensure compliance and equity within company.
Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Oversees the analysis and maintenance of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other regulatory agencies.
Coordinates operational personnel forecasts to project employment needs. Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employee to fill vacant positions.
Plans and conducts new-hire orientation.
Participates in the identification and creation of leadership development process.
Participate in the development and implementation of company succession planning program.
Serves as link between company and employees by handling questions, interpreting company policies and resolving work-related problems.
Administers employee separation process and related documentation.
Prepares budget of human resources operations.
Maintain, manage and develop strategic labor partnerships with local contractors.
Oversees employee goals and growth plans.
