This is an impactful role for the organization requiring the ability to partner with business leaders supporting/driving tactical and strategic initiatives across two business sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter who has strong and well-rounded HR background to progress or continue their career as an HR Business Partner. Reporting to the Sr. Director Human Resources, this role will also play a key role in developing a regional shared services model across the US.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Consults with business partners, and leaders, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
Provides performance management guidance to management and employees (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, goat setting, disciplinary actions, annual performance process).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Recommends, conducts, and participates HR related training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
Provide general guidance to employees on payroll and benefit questions.
Manage the HR databases and maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
Work to strict confidentiality as commensurate with a HR role in all forms including electronically written form and verbally.
Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
HR Credentials (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) a plus.
Proven experience as HR generalist or other HR position.
Knowledge of United States employment law, pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.
Proficient in MS Office; Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with HRIS systems.
BA in business administration/employment law, or relevant field experience.
