Summary of Description:
This office position provides coordination, analytical and logistical support to supply driving and monitor talent to the organization. The Manager will play a critical role in the ongoing maintenance and optimization of systems, processes and tools in partnership with hiring leaders, various departments and key stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manager pre-employment and onboarding process for School Bus Drivers and Monitors
Develop company-wide driver recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels
ensure recruitment and hiring process compliance in all school bus locations
review recruitment, pre-employment, and onboarding processes to identify areas needing improvement. Develop and implement process changes as needed to facilitate an efficient recruiting and hiring process
Supervise hiring coordinators and oversee activities and goals
Review state and federal criminal background checks and motor vehicle records against company matrices and make recommendations; consult with safety department personnel as needed
Meet with operations and functional managers to develop specific workforce planning and recruiting plans
Implement Champion Driver Recruiter (CDR) program- communicate process and program outline to operations, develop and produce marketing materials and t-shirt, coordinate events and activities calendar for each location, ensure goals are being met by CDR’s
Host CDR training sessions and oversee periodic performance reviews
Research, register for, and coordinate staffing and logistics for community events and job fairs; attend as needed
Coordinate marketing/advertising -print and visual media; SWAG items content and supply
Analyze, prepare, and present hiring statistics
Process recruitment and advertising invoices
Track and submit employee referral bonuses on a bi-weekly basis
Manager implementation, tracking, and prize processing for quarterly applicant referral contests
Develop and maintain professional relationships with community, state, and county placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants
Education / Training / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
One to three years of recruitment experience. Transportation industry preferred.
Skills Required
Knowledge of talent acquisition theory and sourcing.
Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
Strong computer (Microsoft Office), social media and internet skills.
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
Written and verbal communication skills.
