This role works closely with BIA Leadership and is responsible for defining and executing the overall BIA Talent engagement, including the overall operations and programs that will deliver the BIA organizational objectives for Bristol Myers Squibb. In collaboration with the Strategy & Operations team, this role is responsible for promoting BIA internally and externally to attract, retain & develop best-in-class talent for data, analytics and business intelligence. This includes providing critical management and executional oversight for both the BIA Rotational Development (RDP) Program, and the Analytics Exchange (AX) Program, along with flexible support as required for other Strategy & Operations initiatives. The position requires an experienced project/program management professional who demonstrates sound business judgment and can work closely with mid- and senior-level leaders in the organization to develop and drive an effective talent plan in partnership with the HRBP. The selected candidate must also work in a collaborative and agile manner with business partners across business units such as Human Resources, Global Learning & Development, Global Inclusion & Diversity, and IT.Key attributes of the chosen candidate include: strong attention to detail, follow through, excellent communication skills, ability to influence, motivate and inspire, and the ability to anticipate, identify and adapt to internal and external trends impacting BIA talent.
Responsibilities
This role will have direct reports from the Rotational Development Program and the Analytics Exchange leadership team; however, the Associate Director will take a lead role with cross-functional teams to create and execute the Talent strategy initiatives and needs to be adept at working in a highly-matrixed organization. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrate a proven ability to drive strategic outcomes aligned with broader company objectives; creativity, initiative, and the ability to quickly learn the business and operate within a complex, fast-paced and changing environment. Strategic, conceptual thinking and strong executional and interpersonal skills required.
