Seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team.

Work Schedule:
Monday thru Friday, 7:30 – 4:30
Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will work independently and will perform administrative tasks and services to support the human resources department as well as supervisors throughout the company. Timeliness, accuracy, and confidentiality are important aspects of this position. This position has excellent opportunity for advancement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains accurate and up-to-date files, records and documentation
Answers frequently asked questions for applicants and employees relative to policies, benefits, hiring process, etc.
Provides clerical support to the HR department
Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, with reference to health, disability and retirement plans
Conducts interviews and assists with new hire orientation
Assists with planning and execution of special events and meetings
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or other related software
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have the ability to meet deadlines
Must have prior office experience
Prior HR experience preferred
Must keep information confidential and hold respect for the privacy of employee records
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
Must pass a background check
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Education:
Associates Degree or Equivalent Job Experience
