CSP Labs and its affiliated companies include seed and plant testing labs, tissue culture plant production operations, and software development services. Our clients are from all around the world and our business locations will be soon expanding to international locations.
Job Responsibilities:
Onboarding – onboards new employees, provides orientation, handles new hire paperwork, provides any training where applicable, etc.
Offboarding – assists in processing terminations and related tasks
Maintains job descriptions of all employees
Benefits administration – assists in administration of company 401(k) and health plan, including answering inquiries, providing enrollment and information packets, tracking eligibility, reviewing forms for accuracy, and maintaining required documentation
Recruiting – coordinates with Human Resources Manager and department managers routinely to determine ongoing hiring needs. When applicable, assisting with posting jobs, screening applicants, coordinating and scheduling interviews, and sending offers.
Employee safety – participate in company safety committee meetings and initiatives, and assists in implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of safety programs. Document and if applicable investigate employee safety incidents. Assists with workers’ compensation following, and completes and maintains necessary safety documentation
Works with the Human Resources Manager to ensure employees receive necessary and required training such as worksite safety, first aid, sexual harassment, forklift operation, etc.
Employee development and compensation – assists with CSP Labs’ annual performance review processes and processing out-of-cycle promotions
Employee satisfaction – collaborates with administrative staff and management in organizing employee appreciation events. Serve as a main point of contact for all employees to assist with a wide variety of inquiries and issues and keep a pulse on employee satisfaction
Organization – organize and enter personnel information in the necessary systems such as QuickBooks Time, BambooHR, and physical employee files. Work with the Human Resources team to track leaves of absence and workers’ compensation administration
Compliance and required filings – complete, respond to, and submit EDD forms and inquiries, review and file payroll-related paperwork as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience in human resources
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to effectively analyze data and provide recommendations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
