Position of Trust: Human Resources employees are expected conduct themselves as professionals, both verbally and in writing. The exposure to sensitive and confidential information will occur as part of the job functions. Trust is essential.
Rate of Pay: $15.50 per hour
Work Schedule:
Mondays: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Answer applicant phone calls.
Review applications in UKG-Recruiting Gateway and respond to management requests for applications.
Prepare documents for HR Onboarding meetings.
Lead HR Onboarding meetings.
Submit applicant data to criminal history screening vendor.
Retrieve from vendors, medical screening results and criminal history results for assessment by the Human Resources Generalist/Human Resources Manager.
Employee locker administration.
Prepare Orientation packets and assist the Human Resources Manager in the Monday Orientation program.
Create employee personnel files and update UKG-Employee File Management system (EFM).
Process and maintain billing related to medical screenings and criminal history screenings.
Update UKG with employee record changes related to pay increases, job changes, performance reviews, and other similar employee record modifications, along with updating records in EFM.
Assist Human Resources Generalist with the Fair Credit Reporting Act compliance/administration.
Assist the Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Manager with administrative tasks and projects.
Assist in the Exit Interview process.
Update and create material for Cardinal TV.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One year (12 months) administrative experience in a high-volume office environment (HR experience preferred).
Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office.
Motor vehicle records check required for this position.
Work experience with HRIS preferred.
Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
Must be detail oriented, organized and an independent worker with problem solving skills.
Proficient business grammar skills and accurate spelling as part of effective and proficient communication, both orally and in writing.
Accurate mathematics skills are required.
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, and the public.
Travel may be required as needed.
Cardinal Employees:
Zero progressive discipline (Corrective Action Notices) in the last 6 months
As applicable, in determining a final rate of pay for a current employee, a compensation calculation occurs accounting for length of current employment
Given the higher-level access to employee records, a criminal history screening will occur to have updated data related to convictions in the area of violence, theft, fraud, and any other applicable areas can be considered disqualifying. A motor vehicle records check will also occur, as travel between the two facilities is required.
Sharing of confidential information related to any employee (current or former), outside of this department will not be tolerated and will result in the ending of employment.
