HR Coordinator

Now hiring an HR Coordinator at Care IV Home Health’s Corporate office in Little Rock, Arkansas! Seeking an outgoing, personable and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency for this key HR & recruitment support role. Our HR Assistant’s duties help support our benefits, human resource, retention, and recruitment efforts for our 4 branch office locations. This position is located in our Little Rock office and hours are Monday through Friday, 8a-5p. Room for growth! Excellent benefits. Pay DOE.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinating with Recruiter to onboard new employees in an efficient and timely manner
• Track potential 401k enrollees and use resources available to engage potential enrollees
• 401k enrollments – assist employees as necessary in such enrollments
• Track new admin employee benefit effective dates, send welcome letter and enrollment instructions
• Coordinate training sessions and seminars related to all benefits in all branches on a monthly basis
• Initiate onboarding in ADP and guide new employees through the process
• Criminal background checks and drug screens

• Verify garnishment orders and submit to payroll processor
• Process workman’s comp and disability paperwork
• Process all unemployment claims
• Request supporting documentation related to subpoenas & unemployment claims hearings
• Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
• Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews
• Coordinate team building activities and outreach to engage all employees within the organization
• Mail birthday and workaversary cards to employees in a timely manner
• Conduct employee “check-in” calls on a regular basis
• Provide assistance with various legal duties as requested
• Point of contact for employee grievances
• Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends, labor laws, rules, regulations and best practices
• Complete paperwork for branch license renewals
• Complete all license paperwork
• Respond to AR State Board of Nursing requests for documentation
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements include:

• Previous experience in a human resources role is required
• Experience in the healthcare office setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of I-9 rules and regulations preferred
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft office and other programs – ADP experience a big plus!

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
