Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will work with multifunctional teams of Human Resources and Finance to support the Cascades business objectives around employee engagement, onboarding, retention, payroll and benefits, recognition, safety, and training. You are the team’s contact person for any technical or HR related questions and ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data integrated into the system. You provide your team with all the information they need to fulfill their mandate and achieve their business objectives.
Your responsibilities
Responsible for the administration of onboarding and termination paperwork of all staff members
Review, investigate and rectify payroll discrepancies in a timely manner
Administration and troubleshooting of insurance benefits and 401k benefits plans
Coordinate claims for disability, FLMA, NYSSL and maintain records of employees on leaves
Support with the return-to-work plan and ongoing activities
Maintain employee training records
Improve and manage ongoing activities related to the employee recognition programs
Your background and strengths
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office365 suites such as Outlook, TEAMS, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Collaborative spirit needed to work effectively with all team members
Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities
