Current Vacancy:
The current vacancies are for full-time permanent positions with the Department of Customer Services, Motor Vehicle, Licensing and Permits Division. The positions are responsible for computing, collecting, balancing and depositing taxes and fees received for all motor vehicle, trailer, bicycle, moped and animal transactions; processing ownership transfers, duplicate certificates, plate and/or emblem replacements and issuing certificates of title and registration; computing, collecting and depositing State and county taxes and various fees levied in conjunction with various motor vehicle, trailer, bicycle, moped and animal transactions, including renewals, transfer of ownerships, plate and/or emblem replacements, duplicate certificates, etc.; and other related work.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience which demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Three (3) years of clerical work experience, one (1) of which shall have involved the reviewing, checking, tabulating and recording of numerical information and data onto fiscal records, forms, reports, or similar materials.
Substitution:
Business school or college will substitute for experience on a month-for-month basis for up to two years of the required three years of clerical experience. There is NO substitution for the one year of specialized experience involving the reviewing, checking, tabulating and recording of numerical information and data onto records, forms, reports or similar materials.
