Summary
The Regional HR Business Partner will support field operations in the assigned brands by acting as a business partner in managing the HR function through staffing, recruiting and retention, compliance, compensation/payroll, benefits, positive employee relations and training and development for the assigned brands. The Regional HR Business Partner will act as a consultant and advisor to field operations managers and employees and be responsible for aligning procedures and practices which are consistent with Central Network Retail Group’s (CNRG) vision and values while also maintaining each brand’s identity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee the human resources function of stores within assigned brands, including, but not limited to, staffing, training, and employee relations.
Contribute to the overall business plans of each brand through recruiting, sourcing, on-boarding and training top talent throughout the brand.
Coach, counsel and train managers in all aspects of HR management and positive leadership to include areas such as resolving conflict, corrective action and performance improvement.
Foster an environment which encourages open and clear communication. Take a hands-on approach to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
Process payroll timely and accurately. Follow-up with operations to resolve any discrepancies.
Provide benefits and HR systems education and support to management and stores.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Collaborate with fellow Human Resource employees within Central Network Retail Group (CNRG) and communicate regularly with the Director of Human Resources regarding HR related matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent years of experience
3+ years progressive Human Resources experience, including recruiting, employee relations
Experience administering payroll and benefits functions at a regional level
Demonstrated knowledge of employment legislation
Experience using HR technology to manage processes, track metrics and perform basic analysis
Multi-site HR management experience required
PHR and/or SHRM certification preferred but not required
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated with ability to inspire and motivate others
Results driven with ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Strong decision making ability
