Pay Range:
$17.00 – $23.05/hr

Establishes a therapeutic relationship with, and provides age appropriate care to assigned patients. Facilitates the maintenance of the therapeutic environment in the inpatient psychiatric unit. Communicates patient mental and/or physical status changes to professional clinical staff.
What You Bring/Job Requirements:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
One year previous experience working with psychiatric and / or substance abuse patients, OR 100 hours of supervised
clinical experience in an accredited post-bachelors program leading to a Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Counseling or Social
Work
Knowledge of therapeutic milieu, basic psychological theories, and group, family and individual therapy
Strong communication skills and ability to manage conflict
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related human services field
BLS
Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) training preferred
Medium Work – (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to
20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
