Chemonics seeks a Human Resources (HR) coordinator to join the Operations, Finance, and Compliance (OFC) division under the Health and Supply Chain Business Line (HSC-BL). The HR coordinator is part of Chemonics’ Health and Supply Chain Human Resources Team. Under supervision of the HR director, the HR coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to the OFC HR team and positively contribute to HR services across business line. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
HRBP Support
Coordinate calendars and meetings, provide logistical support, take notes, and prepare meeting minutes or summaries
Support planning for team initiatives, meetings, and other events, including scheduling, drafting agendas, compiling documents, and coordinating catering
Coordinate team, client and ChemSupport online service requests, ensuring excellent customer service, communication, and follow-through to conclusion; identify needs and/or gaps and elevate questions or concerns to manager and/or director as needed
Ensure required documentation per Chemonics policy and client regulations and conduct periodic audits to ensure files are complete and audit ready
Support employment actions such as transfers, promotions, status changes, salary increases, and bonuses
Assist with HR employee relations cases and investigations, including interview note-taking, supporting logistics and coordination, and contribute to file management and documentation
Support planning and delivery of divisional and business line HSC HR led events
Assist in the development of team materials and templates, participate in activities and initiatives, and conduct internal and external research on policies and best practices
Talent Acquisition Support
Prepare job descriptions for internal and external advertisements consistent with Chemonics branding guidelines
Post job announcements externally and maintain postings on external sites
Support Recruiters in scheduling and facilitating interviews, greeting candidates, ensuring interview documentation is provided to panel members, and acting as interview notetaker when needed
Conduct verbal and written reference checks for all HSC recruitments
Manage onboarding documentation collection for new hires and track criminal background checks via the vendor platform
Support recruitment outreach efforts and participate in recruitment outreach events
Other
Coordinate and respond to ad-hoc requests, elevating when applicable
Maintain team’s intranet page and updates as needed
Contribute to Chemonics business development activities
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties.
High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of one year of relevant administrative work experience
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Strong administrative skills, word-processing abilities, and attention to detail
Strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask and prioritize as part of a fast-moving team
Demonstrated ability to follow prescribed and standard routines, practices, and procedures as well as receive general instruction and supervision on work progress
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely orally and in writing
Ability to work on one or more projects and provide administrative support across multiple teams and departments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to treat information with discretion and show sensitivity and tact in communication
Demonstrated resourcefulness in solving problems and the initiative to learn new skills
Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
English fluency required; secondary language proficiency preferred

The Hourly Pay Range for this position is: $21.96 – $27.46.
An employee’s pay position will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
