Job Description
About the HR Coordinator Role
We’re looking for a customer focused, proactive, energetic, and collaborative employee to serve in the role of HR Coordinator. In this exciting role, you will research, analyze, and respond to inquiries working closely with our HR partners. The HR Coordinator will ensure data integrity by maintaining and administering standardized processes for all HR transactions according to established HR policies
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Serve as an employee and customer advocate who specializes in creating a culture focused on exceptional customer service, including accurate and timely first contact resolution
Interpret simple and complex company and business unit policies and procedures, having the ability to convey them in a simplified manner
Review incoming paperwork and research missing information required to accurately process HR transactions
Responsible for entering all HR transactions into payroll system (new hire entry, data changes and transfers, etc.)
Responsible for submissions to payroll (review and audit for assigned sites of responsibility)
Acts as liaison between HR and Payroll to resolve data discrepancies recommending process enhancements to improve data integrity
Periodically review, update, and publish standard work as necessary to ensure timely and accurate data workflow. Provide training to HR on submission of information.
Identify and document trends and inconsistencies in order to provide recommendations regarding workflow enhancements
Responsible for ensuring all required pre-employment tasks are completed prior to entering the new hire in the system
Responsible for ensuring I-9 E-Verify entry and compliance; monitor expiring documents to ensure work authorization
Responsible for identifying and providing solutions to data integrity potential issues identified by centralized team entry
Analyze, test, implement and support HR tools, applications, and systems
Acts as liaison between assigned site employees and HR Leaders and/or Subject Matter Experts to provide issue resolution
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on audits and compliance
Familiar with all relevant and company-wide processes and policies
Promote quality, compliance management, and process improvements using Continuous Improvement tools and guidance
Identify opportunities for enhancements, automation, and self-service in an effort to achieve a higher level of excellence
Share functional and technical knowledge within the team
Special Projects and any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience
3+ years of experience (HR experience preferred)
Degree preferred
In addition to your education and experience, as a team player you must have the following skills
Proficient in MS Office
ADP/EV-5 experience a plus
Ability to work in a deadline-driven atmosphere
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work with highly sensitive and confidential material and possess good business judgement and ethics
Strong communication skills (written and oral) with all levels of the organization
Strong analytical skills
