The People & Culture Business Partner will align with functional leaders of the enterprise to implement and execute strategic people-focused solutions to maximize employee value by leading and influencing all facets of the People & Culture department, including talent acquisition, total rewards and workforce empowerment. Our People & Culture team members serve as an “influencers” of change, positivity and value-added solutions.
This position will begin as a remote role during the Covid-19 period and transition into an in-office position in the coming months. During the pandemic, periodic in-offices will be necessary based on business need.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a strategic resource to multiple locations in the U.S. by administering processes which include, but are not limited to, talent acquisition, employee relations, onboarding, and performance management
Implement current and proactive solutions to attract and retain talent through a targeted recruitment approach and proactive retention strategies.
Build positive relationships with all business units in all locations
Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement strategies that enhance the culture of our organization
Ensure effective and timely pre-employment and onboarding activities and requirements for all new employees
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
Maintain in-depth knowledge of federal, state and local labor and employment law. Counsel employees and supervisors accordingly to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
Provide day-to-day performance enhancement guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) including strategies for improving performance and structural suggestions.
Communicate and administer all facets of total rewards.
Education & Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related major preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of HR experience handling recruitment, employee relations, integrated leave programs and benefits administration required
