Current Vacancy:
There is one (1) vacancy with the Honolulu Board of Water Supply, Water Quality Division. This position is responsible for providing secretarial and administrative assistance to the Program Administrator, and must exercise discretion and judgment in assisting the Program Administrator with overseeing the administrative affairs of the Division; professionally and tactfully deal with management and staff within the Division, BWS, City agencies, other organizations and the general public; and ensure the confidentiality of issues, situations and documents.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience that demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Two years of secretarial, stenographic or substantive clerical experience.
Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge of office practices and procedures; basic principles and capabilities of word processors and microcomputers; and the ability to understand and interpret laws, ordinances, rules and regulations; summarize and brief materials; give and follow oral and written instructions; and deal tactfully and effectively with employees and the public.
