City of East Tawas Hiring for Front Office Clerk/Receptionist at East Tawas, MI Full Time

We are seeking a front desk receptionist that is passionate about providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidates will be responsible for answering the phone, directing calls and responding to any emergencies. The front desk receptionist is also responsible for taking payments.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and answer phone calls in a friendly manner.
• Politely direct visitors to the appropriate person or office.
• Prepare, sort, process, and route incoming mail.
• Scan and file documents using a scanner or fax machine and computer software.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 – $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

• East Tawas, MI 48730: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 5 years (Preferred)
